Cell phones and other mobile devices are becoming a much more common way to browse the internet these days, so we figured we should make sure that it is easy to navigate through our website using these devices. Some websites do not even render at all in some mobile devices, while others are very hard to read because the text is so small and you end up spending most of your time pinching in and out trying to zoom over different parts of the website. Rancho Del Cerro has upgraded our website with a responsive design so that general usability will be much easier in such devices as iPhones, iPads, cell phones, tablets, ect. Feel free to add a shortcut to your home screen as well. We designed a custom built icon so it will look as if it were just another app on your device. More improvements coming soon!

Ever had a larger than normal water bill? Well, you are probably not alone. Just last month we had a report of a water bill at $194.24, where their average was normally below $30. Turns out that the PVC pipe coming off the main water valve had cracked from the extreme pressure. The leak went unnoticed until the bill came in. As some of you may already know, the City of Tucson offers
Customer Service Relief and Courtesy Adjustments. You can learn more about the services offered at
City of Tucson Water Billing and Customer Service. In this case, the resident was able to get 50% off their highest bill paid back to them, but will not be able to make another claim for the next 3 years.

Seen some suspicious activity in the neighborhood recently? Now, you can record this information via the website on the
Suspicious Activity page. After filling out some information about what you you saw, you can submit the form and a notification will be sent to the board members and the leader of the neighborhood watch. This is not only good so that we can have some recorded history about suspicious activities in our community, but it also gives us the opportunity to inform the right people so proper action can be taken to resolve or prevent future unwanted suspicious activities.

Finally, it's here! Now you can check in on news from the Rancho Del Cerro Home Owners Association in realtime. Find out about the next board meeting or the location of our yearly BBQ event. It's all here in the new and improved Rancho Del Cerro website. We even have plans to build tools so you can make a user and manage your HOA account. This will allow the association to save money on sending out bills because now everything can be done on-line. With this new site, expect at least one post per month!
